Introduction

Starting this blog because Yahoo! bought Associated Content (AC). I'd been quite happy at AC and most frequently published as "display only" so I could maintain ownership of my work. Perhaps I misunderstand the new Yahoo! terms of service (TOS) but it seems to me that anything published after agreeing to them will be owned by them.  I would have agreed to the new TOS if the wording indicated that it would only apply to future published documents but as it seems all inclusive and I don't want to give them ownership of my display only articles I cannot agree to the new TOS. 

Unfortunately for me (and probably many other writers who feel the same way) I cannot access my Yahoo/AC account until I agree to the new TOS. Because I cannot agree I cannot access at all, even to remove my works that I still currently own. Therefore, I am going to post a lot of the work here so I at least have a record of the published works. If I'm sure it was display only I'll post the whole article. If I'm not sure I'll just include the link. 

I've published elsewhere but AC had the bulk of my published work (199 articles, poems and photographic slideshows) so that's what you'll see the most of here. 

If any of the links to my articles cease working, you have my apologies. As stated above, I no longer have access to my Yahoo!/AC account.
